The transportation, or lack thereof, has become a huge problem. Pastor Benjamin’s car is way beyond its expiration date! It’s held together with bailing wire and prayer. Daily miracles manage to convey many people short distances in the area.

Yesterday, he gave me a ride back to my place after the meetings. When we arrived at my place, the car was belching steam and the exhaust had a distinct scorched oil smell. How he made it back to church was another miracle.
We desperately need funds to buy a used car. Benjamin found a Toyota that he feels is sound. It can be purchased with the trade of his current car plus $1500.

I will use it while I’m here, giving me independence and eliminating daily taxi fares. After my time in Kenya is concluded, the car would be used by pastor Benjamin.
