Pastor Curtis in Hospital

From Brenda Zarska:

Curtis returned to the States September 20, 2019, after spending 3 months in NW Kenya. He planned to go back to Kitale, Kenya in 2 weeks. He is still planning to return for another 3 months but he will be delayed for a week or two, if all goes well.

He was admitted to the hospital 10 days later after his health deteriorated. Symptoms: fever 103.7, pustules spreading on body (felt like glass shards), swollen feet, burning sensation in hands (very hot to the touch), in & out of consciousness, inflamed throat (even water burned).

He is under the care of Dr. Seeber, who has been his primary care physician for many years.

I spent an hour with him Sabbath afternoon. Until a diagnosis has been reached, gown/mask/gloves must be worn by all who enter his ICU room.

His pain is being managed, testing is ongoing, and he is sleeping most of the time. His appetite seems normal. I expect to know something by Monday.

Thank you for your prayers and good wishes!

We are a group of mission-oriented people. Pastor Benjamin found us on YouTube from one of our sermons. He oversees a number of churches. They seek biblical truth and have thoroughly enjoyed Karen Zarska Styer's sermons about the experiential aspect of the heavenly sanctuary. Meg Smyth and Denetra Gary continued Karen's work for the next 10 days. Denetra focused more on the science of the brain and how it processes information while Meg focused on the experiential side of a walk with God. Curtis Delzell, an experienced missionary and evangelist, is currently with the lovely people of Kenya. They want continued Bible study as they seek a closer walk with Jesus.
