Sister Denetra Remembers

In 2018, Meg and I visited Kitale, Kenya to preach the Sanctuary message. This was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The love shared between the people was heartfelt and true. In addition, their desire to understand the sanctuary and heal from roots was evident.

I am so grateful for this experience and I wanted to pass along the compilation of photos taken during our excursion.

God bless you and keep the faith, Kenyan family! Your sister in Christ, Denetra Gary

Remembering Kenya

Christa Preaches

I have been assigned to the Nangili SDA church for most of this week. Elder Elijah is taking me to and from the church. He is also doing all the translations. Unfortunately, the connection is very weak so I cannot connect to the cloud. Therefore, I can’t film the sermons but God has been blessing us despite the problems.

Christa Goes to Market

No, she’s not on a motorcycle… Yet!!

Goods to market

Christa Negley is taking a picture from the left side of the car, as the driver is on the right. The motorcycle is a typical transport vehicle carrying impossible loads to market.

This is where we do our shopping. Beans and other dry goods are in open sacks.

Brown millet

Christa doesn’t usually do farming in church clothes but perhaps she’ll start a fashion trend! She is spreading brown millet and later she spreads corn to dry in the sun. It is then ground for a dish called Ugali (you either love or hate it).

Day 2 – Karen in Kenya

The mother I’m standing beside is also named Karen! The little boy pictured here is named Lamech, like Noah’s father in the bible. A younger son, not pictured, is named Ted Wilson, after the GC president.

This church family was eager and ready to hear the sanctuary message! They have already been studying their bibles in preparation for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is coming so soon! I’m looking forward to seeing all of you there!

Day 1 – Sister Karen

Our first day was spent in Kitale where we celebrated communion together.

During Christa’s sermon, the presence of the Holy Spirit was palpable. My topic was The Judgement of the Living. I felt I was able to share deep truths and the people were open and able to understand!

Pastor Dan and Elder Elijah have opened their homes and hearts to us. They have assisted us in getting what we need for our presentations and are helping us get to our next churches.

Christa, Pastor Dan

I will be preaching at a different church every day this week! Christa will be in the Webuye area, about an hour south of Kitale. Wabuye is where the local SDA conference is located.

Christa Negley, PhD, and Sister Karen Styer arrived safely in Kitale, Kenya, September 24. Their 3-week speaking tour will cover several SDA camp meetings and many churches in Northwest Kenya.

The focus of the meetings are on the soon return of Jesus and the end-time message of the cleansing experience of the final generation.

This is Karen’s 3rd trip since 2018 and Christa’s 1st to the area. Most of the meetings will be available on YouTube. Many will include translator assistance in Swahili. Links will be posted on this site.

Winds Are Released

By Carol Zarska, May 15, 2021

A message from Jesus was given to me after my sermon on Zeph. chapters 1 and 2. Remember that even though this is spoken to me, Jesus wants His messages to go out to include all His faithful children.

“Dearest One,

“I was very pleased with the power of your message this! Well done, thou good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of thy Lord!

EGW Banned in Some SDA Churches

By Carol Zarska, author, speaker, pastoral counselor

EGW=Ellen G. White – one of the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist church

To all who read this, I wish to preface it with this statement which I received during prayer after questioning the Lord about some in the church who are turning publicly against the Spirit of Prophecy or EGW writings, and encouraging others to follow in their example:
